In Cantonese with Chi & Eng Sub

When a new strain of coronavirus wreaked havoc in Wuhan in early February 2020, panic spread among the residents of Hong Kong as mainland Chinese continued to enter the territory by the thousands daily. A shortage of face masks soon followed, and when a non-government organisation managed to secure a batch for distribution to the elderly, many senior citizens showed up to wait in line.

Director's Profile
Sam Tsang graduated from the Film Professional Training Programme, and is now an independent documentary filmmaker. Recent works include Postman, Contrast and Not One Less.

Director's Note
During the shooting, we met a lot of elderlies telling us their confusion and anger, as they have waited in line for hours to get a mask. In Hong Kong, everyone is inevitably a victim of this bizarre society.

Tickets will be available at screening venue and the Broadway Cinema Website from 23 October.
