Synopsis
Gevar moved to France from Syria with his family and decided to rent a piece of land to grow vegetables. Over the next year, the land proved to be a rollercoaster ride of hope and disappointment filled with sweat and tears. The conflict that has torn his home apart may be far away, but the shadows of terrorism and violence of the war continue to haunt the family today.
Director's Profile
Born in Damascus suburbs, Qutaiba Barhamji is a film editor and director. He grew up moving between Syria and Russia, where he studied medicine. In 2005, he settled and studied film in Paris.
