Synopsis
Through organising a reading of Palestinian works among a group of renowned Jewish and Palestinian writers, the director hopes to enhance the mutual understanding between the two groups and ease the tension faced by the Palestinian community.

Director's Profile
Amos Gitai is an Israel film director and screenwriter who was born in 1950 in Haifa. He studied architecture at University of California, Berkeley. In 1973, he joined the Yom Kippur war, and it triggers him to start to create film. His works are mainly about Middle-East conflict, and he has been nominated at Cannes, Venice, and other major film festivals.
